When the ordinary needs to come out!?

Have you ever had the feeling that something was calling out to you? You could feel the attraction of the object. You can feel yourself being pulled. You can't explain it but you just know that the object is talking to you. You're out and you look in a window lets say, not really looking at anything in particular. In the corner of your eye you see something without really looking at it. Then you walk away. As you're walking, or even once you're back home, all you can see and think about is that little glimpse of something that keeps haunting your thoughts. Later you walk back, all you can see now is the object that keeps popping back into your head. Even if it's not the greatest thing in the window, that's all you see. You don't understand because the thing is just a regular thing. You've seen better. It's not really what you're looking for. But you know you have to do something. A few years ago I was at my office Christmas party. I was also the photographer for the evening. I shot about a hundred pics that night. When I was looking at my pictures, most of them were pretty good. This one was just shot on the fly. My friend was even a bit mad because she knew she was laughing/drunk. As I looked through the pictures, this one just kept coming back. I was looking at all of them, but this one just kept pulling me back to it. I felt weird at first because it was an ordinary picture. I have others of my friend that look a lot better then that one. But this one just kept haunting me. I even left it in the pile for people to see them and order some and nobody said anything about that one. Nobody! After a few days, I opened it in Photoshop. I looked at it. Went on the web and started searching for things to add to this picture. The project took me about thirty minutes to make. This is what came of the picture that was calling out to me. Once I started working on it, this is all I could see. This picture was screaming to be an ad. Since then, a few people saw it and are amazed at the finished product. I gave her a copy. She couldn't believe what I had done with it. I told her that this picture, for some reason was talking to me. Her friends were sure she had posed for the company. They were sure it was real. Some have suggested I send it in. What do you think? Could you see this as an ad in a magazine? And be honest. I'll still love you and I'll still love it. Have fun!? J

Definitely send it in!! It screams Chanel!!!
The other thing I thought of--was a Tiffany jewelry ad (assuming of course her necklace was Tiffany).

But yes, I can see why this picture kept calling out to you. It certainly caught my eye.

I can absolutely see it as an ad. It's a beautiful picture, the perfect capture of a moment. I think she should be flattered by it. Classy and fun.

It is a portrait of unabashed, unashamed, unrestrained joy.
