"DINNER!?"
Nobody touch anything.
Go wash your hands first.
No, all of you are to young, you're all sitting at the little table.
Yes you all have to drink your vegetable juice.
No you can not have wine.
You're all having grape juice and water.
Wine and beer are for grown ups.
There is turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, olives, onions, bread and a special desert.
I made my raspberry chocolate truffle cake.
Now say grace and dig in!?
Have fun!?

Happy Thanksgiving J!
I love grape juice. But I still can't drink it without leaving a purple mustache on my face.
I'm most grateful and glad for the invitation, Joel! And I shall be there in spite of the... (how many?) a few thousand km... In my mind and in my spirit.
(I may even arrive in time: it's now 6:15 pm in Montréal, I guess...)
Enjoy it lavishly!
(Oh grape fruit is just fine... preferably fermented...)
You canadians...having your own holidays, you'd think you were a different country. I'm so jealous of that actually.
happy thanksgiving
sounds like a typical thanksgiving dinner to me!
I made my raspberry chocolate truffle cake.
Sounds awesome.
Bon Apetit!
It all sounds so good, Uncle Joe! But the little table is too small for all of us. Besides that, Ric keeps poking me in the ribs and saying words I have to look up! Plus, I have to admit that I already ate some of the mashed potatoes (with gravy) and had some left-over cole slaw and chicken. I'm full! But may I please have the grape juice?
I agree with Kalvin, you should be celebrating the day (Nov 23) the first christians came to America and royally screwed anyone who stood in their way...
wait... does that mean it's thanksgiving in the USA every day?
Thanks for the invite. Save me the liver and the heart... those are my favorite parts of the chicken.
I'll gross everyone out by chewing them and sticking my tounge out.
I did miss it! Are there any leftovers?
I am going to have to have left-overs too...maybe a hot turkey sandwich?
I'm seeing a food trend lately on blogs out there. I think my diet is being tested...
Save a plate for me ;)
Happy Thanksgiving Joel....it looks DELICIOUS, mmmmm I can't wait for the US version. I love grape juice...maybe a little fermented, but it IS grape juice none-the-less.
Sorry to be the spoil sport! But I take umbrage with Foxy Stone's comment, "the day (Nov 23) the first christians came to America and royally screwed anyone who stood in their way..." That is *not* exactly true!
Many years after the first Thanksgiving dinner, the "first" Christians and the American natives got along fabulously! Just because FS is so jaded against the ancestors of those people doesn't allow an automatic right to be WRONG!
FYI: All of us Christians don't go around screwing people everyday! Only the fundamentalist-right assholes do that. So, FS, don't lump all Christians into one boat. It's like lumping all LBGTs into one boat and saying: they're all the same!
