The crying game!?

Yes guys it's true. I'm living the "Crying game" in reverse. I never thought I'd be had by something like this. I've had a guy in my life for about two weeks now. One of the most affectionate that I've had in a long time. He reminds me of my ex Rusty. He had red hair. Although the age difference is there, he is just one of the most passionate guys I've ever met. Well I should say she. You see it turns out that for the last two weeks, I've not had a guy in my life, but a girl. I feel cheated. I feel lied to. Yes it complicates things. Yes it will cost me more. But now that I'm in love, what am I suppose to do? I'm trying to change my way of thinking. I hope I don't cause her mental anguish by still calling her by her guy name. I just can't bring myself to call her by any other name. I just hope the vet understands. NEO is a female. Have fun!? J

That, that SLUT!! How dare she deceive you! Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Well, now that you're in love with (gulp) HER I guess I'll have to get used to the idea as well.

Be brave, Joe. Be brave.

Been there, done that.
Our kitty girl turned out to be a tomcat. We changed his name, but his "maiden name" is still printed on his vaccination card.

Oh, your kitty looks very cute, by the way. I can totally understand why you fell in love with him/her.

Oh the deception! LOL!

Unless "Neo" has some kind of French masculine ending, I'd stick with it regardless of the Swedish gender change.

Right out of grad school, in my first home, one snowy December day, I was out walking and noticed a small black kitten on the door step of a nearby building. When I return, the cat was gone from the place I saw him, but then I found him on my doorstep. I took him in. A neighbor who had cats confirmed that it was male. He was SO affectionate and sweet! At the time I thought I could not keep a cat where I was living so I posted an ad for a free home for a male cat. Someone came and took the cat. A short while later the person reappeared at my door and wondered if I would like a newborn kitten. "He" had had quite a litter.

What a post full of suspense! Until I saw her picture I would swear everything you wrote before was absolutely true... Dear Lord, you are just great, Joel!
Well, I think it's still time for her to be called NEA! It sounds beautifully in French... And she looks as cute as can be. Kittens are pure living beauty!
Congrats for such a successful post! :-)

I recall a Disney movie like this; Thomas became 'Thomasina"

You can just say Neo is short for Neopolitania, or some such name, lol.

How dare her genitals be unidentifyable!

You're a sly, clever man, Joe. You had me worried for a few moments.]
She is precious, and I'm sure she would be a boy for you, if she could.
