It's a wrap!?

I told you last week I'd show you some of my different wrappings. These were actually my first attempts at making this kind of thing. Some are good and some not so good. All I can say is some were amazed and as for the not so good ones, they brought a smile and a good laugh to all. Where do I get the ideas? I just look at the gift and also try to think of the person I'm giving it too. I try to personalize them as best I can. Hope you enjoy and I hope it gives you ideas for your gift wrapping. This one was for a friend. She loved the X-Men comic books even before the movies came out. The screen hides 2 packs of smokes and a gift certificate for the movies. In the box there were 2 comics for her collection, some more gift certificates to get more comic books and a little purse that she wanted to go out. In the restaurant, there was a necklace. This was for a friend who loves pink. I decided to make a Jeep windshield with a lamination I gave her. The gift certificate is a road sign. There was the Chippendale stinky and two mugs hidden in the dice. That is actually the mirror from my car at the time. She had to give it back. lol This one was for my friend Sandra. The top and bottom are books. The center was a mug. This again was a lamination for a friend. She loved wolves. The wolf on the right is a fridge magnet. A mug makes the cabin and the snow on the roof is a gift certificate for her chiropractor. The tree trunk hides a movie poster. The apple is a puppet, you stick your finger underneath and you can make the worm move. The teddy of course. And in the box, there was a T-shirt and some gift certificates for our favorite club at the time. I had made this for a kid I knew, but ended up giving it to a friend at work for her girls. It's a kids toy and the headboard is a coloring book. This was for Pascal's mom. I don't recall the event. I did this the morning of the said event. Poor Pascal, I think I drove him nuts that day. lol We had to be there around three, and I was still gluing stuff at two. (That's why some of the corners came unglued.) Not shaved, not showered not ready at all. She still has the book in her library. This was a wedding gift for someone we knew. It's a DVD player and a DVD. This was for a girl at work.It was her first baby shower. She loves Happy faces so I made a Gerber Happy face swirl bottle. She kept the bottle as a bank for her kid. You do need to remember the size of the gifts cause they have to fit in the hole. lol Well that's it for now. Have fun!? J

Man, you are one creative guy! I'm glad you had foresight to take pictures and that you were willing to share them. They are so cool!

And here I thought I was good when I got the ends of the wrapping paper to "square"!
